This Privacy Policy explains how Caribou Games ("Caribou Games," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the RacketBuddies mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password (or your Apple/Google sign-in identifier).
• Profile information — sports you play, skill level, home court or club, and profile photo if you add one.
• Activity information — games you create or join, groups and clubs you belong to, invitations, and messages sent through the Service.
• Device & usage information — app version, device type, and basic analytics used to keep the Service reliable.

2. How we use information

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To match you with games, players, groups, and clubs.
• To send game invites, confirmations, and match reminders.
• To provide customer support and keep the Service safe and reliable.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We share limited information with other players and clubs as needed to organize games (for example, your name and level appear to players in a game you join). We use trusted service providers (such as hosting and analytics) bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Push notifications & communications

With your permission, we send notifications related to your games and groups. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time.

5. Your choices & rights

• Access, update, or delete your account information from within the app.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@racketbuddies.org.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period unless a longer retention is required by law.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
